All Local Authorities Now Online

All Local Authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are now listed on Submit-a-plan for making electronic and offline Building Control applications. The process to make both types of applications is very similar. So what is the difference?

Electronic Applications

Electronic applications enable applicants to complete the forms online and attach electronic documents before submitting. The application is sent electronically to the Local Authority. Applicants can also track the progress of their application using DataSpace On-line.  

Offline Applications 

Offline applications enable applicants to complete the forms online and then print the completed form. The printed form will then need to be posted to the Local Authority together with the appropriate documents and drawings.
