About Submit-a-Plan
Submit-a-Plan enables anyone, with access to the web, to submit Building Control applications electronically and offline to ANY Local Authority in England, Wales and Northern Ireland free of charge.
Five easy steps
- Logon.
- Select the relevant local authority.
- Complete the on-line version of the application form.
- Select the electronic drawings you want to send.
- And submit.
Why not give it a try, register your details, and select the demo local authority then away you go.
Submit-a-Plan.com is a direct response from LABC services to feedback from its clients and partners. More and more clients are using CAD systems and have made the move online. LABC identified a growing need for a simple electronic application system that would extend to Building Control surveyors.
You can also track your applications through the system allowing you to see how far your application has progressed.
Submit-a-Plan was originally conceived by The City of Sunderland Building Control and then fully specified and developed in conjunction with LABC services to meet the needs and embrace the principles contained within the Modernising Local Government agenda.
The service is run by Resolution Data Management Ltd and is funded by Local Authorities.
It meets the specific needs of Building Control surveyors processing applications electronically. The specification for the system has been reviewed at every stage to ensure compliance with LABC practices and procedures.
